Las Cruces Biological Station
A rich, internationally recognized collection of tropical plants
from
around the world. Aroids, bromeliads, ferns, gingers,
heliconias, marantas and palms cover the 25 acre garden. The adjacent
forest covers 657 acres and includes over 2000 native plants and
animals, including birds, butterflies, mammals, reptiles and amphibians.
